Today we are looking at the edible contribution to our winter magazine editorial shoot! Jessica with Sweet Bottom Cake joined the shoot nearly last minute when our original creative had some health complications, this can create some difficult energy and serious concerns but Jessica nailed it and went above and beyond for us, this says a lot about how she runs her company and how she works under pressure, making me super grateful I have the opportunity to work with her!

She created a 3 tier chocolate wedding cape with a whipped dark chocolate ganache finish that created a cohesive texture and color for the shoot. The mini cakes she brought in where also chocolate but with a maple white chocolate meringue buttercream. An inspiring concept for those planning a wedding, mini cakes to compliment your actual cake!

Our florist + stylist finished the adornment with accents drawn from other elements used for the shoot including fresh fruit. I cannot say we came to this shoot for the food, but it sure was amazing to experience! All this edible beauty was served up on custom concrete stands from Emery Ave Designs!
