If there was a definition of a fairytale wedding, I think this would be it. From the the Bride’s gorgeous ballgown and perfect florals, the carriage that whisked them away at the end of the night. There is nothing else we could think of that would make this wedding more of a dream.
From the Bride: “I remember joking with some girl friends one night looking at Pinterest wedding boards saying that it was all planned and the groom would just be inserted. But after getting engaged I came to a quick realization that I would need to include my grooms ideas as well. And my moms.
I had fantasized a backyard wedding for as long as I could remember. My plans changed as we began to attend church together at the Garden Park ward in the Harvard Yale area of Salt Lake City. It is an LDS church history site a gift to an early president of the church. It was originally an estate with an amazing yard, carriage house and pond with stream. I agreed that it was close enough to a backyard and could not be more thrilled we had our ring ceremony and reception there.
We settled on an Italian theme. Which called for oven fired pizzas, Italian sodas and gelato. We also had the most amazing bakery cater salads, pastries and bread. The highlight was our cheese board. We had a table long anti pasta board on a white marble slab. It was everything I hoped it would be.
The absolute most important detail of my wedding was having an environment for lots of littles! I made an eye spy game with a disposable camera, and we had a coloring book, candy, and bubbles. I babysat and nannied for many many years. Having those little children surround me on our day made it so much more special. ”
