Alissa and Jaxon first met while serving LDS missions in Salem, Oregon. Jaxon knew he wanted to marry her then, while Alissa had no idea and kept it all professional. A few days after her return home they went on their first date, many more followed as did their engagement. Alissa’s ring is from an antique jeweler and dates back to the 1920’s Art Deco era. She has always loved the classy Art Deco look, and they decided to style their wedding after this theme. From her beaded wedding gown and the flapper-esque bridesmaids, to the historic Chantilly mansion and martini glasses, Jaxon and Alissa really tried to create a wedding that would provide a classy night that would take their guests back in time.
