We found these young lovers on insta (tag us please we love to see your weddings) and we inquired about seeing more of them and they responded. I am sure glad they did because their engagements are beautiful, their bridals are beautiful, and their wedding is beautiful! So I am publishing all 3 in a series this week! Jena shared their love story with me and she said it perfectly!
I met Ashley while playing bubble soccer with our mutual friends and that was the absolute luckiest day of my life. Although, in the beginning, I wasn’t star struck (quite yet) by his perfect hair, charming personality, or dreamy English accent. It’s safe to say that changed very quickly after our first date, and the rest was history. Before he proposed I had traveled home with him 3 times to visit his family in the year and a half that we dated. Upon our most recent return back to Utah early this year, Ashley proposed in February.
He had my best friend convince me that her and I were flying out to San Diego for the day to shoot with Kenzie Dawn. Now I know that sounds elaborate and you’re probably thinking, “How did she fall for that?” lets just say they were very very good at lying and had me fooled down to the last detail. The short version is, he did fly both of us to San Diego where he surprised me and proposed at an outdoor wedding venue he had rented out just for us that evening. It was gorgeous and magical, perfectly thought out and honestly more than I could have ever dreamed.
Our Dreamy Engagements were taken in Zion National Park by Tyler Rye who is unreal with a camera and started our wedding journey off perfectly!
