This classic military wedding was a charmer filled with pretty details, timeless style, a great venue, and love …. what this is all about anyhow!

Jamison and I met in college. Jamison is from Pleasanton, California and I am from Salt Lake City. We both attended Westminster College in Salt Lake City and we also played sports. Jamison was on the lacrosse team and I was on the soccer team. Jamison has told me he saw me on campus and thought I was beautiful, but was too shy to introduce himself. He and his friends didn’t know who I was for about a year, which was when they realized I played soccer and that Jamison and I had some mutual friends. At a party our mutual friends introduced us. Jamison and I went on a few dates, but I decided my focus needed to be school and soccer so we were just friends. We ended up having a statistics class together the following semester. Jamison was always patient with me and would help me with homework when I needed it and we sat by each other every class. The following year (junior year) I would see Jamison around campus and at get togethers with friends then I studied abroad in Spain. I got back from Spain in the summer, after living there for 5 months, and dedicated my summer to training for soccer. At a Halloween party I saw Jamison and we talked for awhile catching up. I left the party realizing I had missed seeing him around and decided I’d text him. I told him it was really nice seeing him and that we should hang out more often. Jamison asked me to breakfast. We had a great time, but we didn’t talk much or see each other for about a month (my fault! Oops!). Right after we had finished finals I ran into Jamison at an outting in salt lake. We sat and talked for a few hours and it was then that I realized he is an amazing person and he knew how to make me laugh. Over Christmas break we talked a lot. I reached out to him and invited him to our New Year’s Eve party. He flew into salt lake just for New Years so we could hang out and that was when we had our first kiss. Then he flew home for a few more days before coming back for school. Jamison took me on dates when he got back to salt lake and I was amazed at how much of a gentleman he is and how easy it was for us to laugh together and have a good time. From New Years on Jamison and I continued dating and the rest was history! We dated for two and a half years before getting engaged. Right after getting engaged Jamison left for training for the marine corps. Six months later we were married! I finished up a masters program in salt lake and joined him this past June on our adventure.
