These two have a great mountain engagement session with Charity Rebekah Photography + they shared their cute love story with us:
We actually met in 7th grade at school. It was Halloween and Caden was wearing a black shirt with a purple skull on it. He asked me if I wanted to date him and I said yes, however our dating back then only lasted two days! we always saw each other around a lot with mutual friends but didn’t really hang out much; then the summer between our junior and senior year we started to hang out and getting to know each other. Then in august before school started he told me that he wanted to date and we’ve been together ever since! So fast forward a couple years. We’d been dating for three and a half years and I was kind of giving hints like “ok, so are we going to get married or what.” He would say things back like “yeah I want to but weddings are expensive and we don’t have a lot of money,” type of thing. In May of 2016 he decided to go out and do summer sales in Oklahoma. We had planned a vacation to Mexico a couple months prior in June during the summer so I would see him in a couple of weeks. I kind of had an idea that maybe he would ask me to marry him there, BUT we’re talking on the phone one day and he tells me “hey, I know you want to get married and everything and you might be thinking I’m going to propose to you while we’re in Mexico, but I just don’t want you to get your hopes up because we don’t have a lot of money so right now just isn’t the right time.” Of course I’m like “well, I mean, alright. Thanks for telling me.” so the next week, we’re in Mexico at this beautiful resort with some of our friends. Caden’s been acting a little weird but I’m thinking it’s just because of jet lag or something. We’re getting ready to go to dinner and everyone decides they want to go on a walk around the resort. So we’re walking and we get to this boardwalk area, where we’re over water and the sun is setting. Caden pulls me in for a hug and starts saying how I’m his best friend and the next thing I know he’s down on one knee!! With literally the most perfect ring ever!! Of course I said yes! And the rest is history!
